Just a quick post, off to bed, since I am exhausted!
After putting in a number of hours tonight, 8 or so, My R2-D2 is now 100% complete!
I finished filing and attaching the last few things, and the last few hours I have spent on weathering the legs and the skirt to give him that “used” look.
I have not put him together yet, will do that tomorrow.
Maybe I’ve gone overboard with the weathering and made him a little too rusty, but I’ll judge that after tomorrow. I can always clean him up a little bit more if I have to!
I promise a good range of pictures tomorrow!
